The southern Pacific side of Panama experiences these differences the most. On the other side of Panama on the northern Caribbean you will experience rain showers throughout the year. This area does have a little bit lower amounts of rain during the months of February, March, September and October.

On their annual bird count, the Panama Audubon Society continuously counts more bird species in Panama than all areas of Central America and North America.
