Common Man Coffee Roasters
To prove that Common Man Coffee Roasters are serious about the beans, you only have to take a look at who is behind the brand. A partnership between the famed Spa Esprit Group and Australian coffee roasting specialist, Five Senses Coffee, they import their beans from around the world. Sourcing some of the finest and rarest varieties across the globe, the beans are then roasted in-house and sold either in your cup or to take home.

Sarnies
Food isn’t the only thing that our lunch-time favourite, Sarnies, is fanatical about getting right – they are also serious about their coffee. Pop into this Telok Ayer street favourite and you are guaranteed to enjoy a cup of delicious hot coffee, and if you can’t live without it, no worries – they also sell their beans to take home.

Plain Vanilla
When we get a cupcake craving, Plain Vanilla is our number one port of call. But it isn’t just sweet treats that they get so right, serving up some of the finest coffee we have tasted in Singapore. Sourced from around the world, they roast their beans in-house and offer some of the most niche coffee brands you can find. What’s more, you can buy the beans in house to take home with you.

Carpenter and Cook
While there might only be one outlet of Carpenter and Cook these days, people still flock in droves to their Bukit Timah branch. It could be for the delicious sweet treats, the vintage furniture or it could be for the lip-smackingly good coffee. Available to drink there, to take away or as pre-roasted beans, once you’ve tasted it, you will soon understand why people keep going back for more.

Oriole Coffee
Oriole take their coffee very seriously indeed. Be it from the stringent barista training, the sourcing of the beans to the actual roasting – for Oriole coffee is never just a drink. Known for their unique flavours and cold coffee selections, it’s not hard to see why they have expanded to three outlets in such a short space of time.
