"Lost Pirate Love Colony" is the second book I have read by Leon Kastel. This eBook novel is offered by Amazon Kindle. At 218 pages in length it packs a lot of entertainment.

This book was very entertaining! Read it for excitement and laugh and some erotic titillation! As a crime, action, erotic, comedy "Lost Yacht Pirate Love Colony" gracefully avoids being disorganized fiasco. Considering the title and what the book undertakes this is not an easy mix of fiction themes to make a decent novel. Leon Kastel reminds me of a bit of Billy Wilder in his conception of this rather theatrical romantic comedy – yes, you heard me romantic!

The characters include four pirates and twelve young women models that meet and interact when the luxury yacht "Esmeralda" is hijacked. Without talking story line I will say that the balancing of realism, fantasy and erotic comedy with crime, thriller and action is superb. Accomplished in some respects better than the comedic interpretations of author Ian Fleming's novels of the James Bond action, thriller series.

This ebook "Lost Yacht Pirate Love Colony" deals well with culturally germain questions of heterosexual politics, economic crimes, and American social psychology in very entertaining fashion. The characters and situations are plausible, human and – well, very interesting!

The book has enough twists and turns to keep it from being boring – these come in the form of pirate and model characters which are not so stereotypical, ecogeography of the Caribbean and resort life in general, and the very human problem of dealing with adversity by risk taking.

Questions arise as to the philosophy of author Leon Kastel in the themes of corporate business practices, media methods and psychology, changing female roles and dynamics in our fast-changing culture. All from an Amazon Kindle ebook novel.

While the erotic scenes may put off the dilettantes and romantics to some degree, they are not only prurient but serve the exposure of our culture and each character's type as well. This says a lot about diversity of individuals in even a mass culture.

The more technical scenes involving the yacht or electronics, the physical and natural features of the island or sea, the logistics involved in the settings, weather, islands and the crime itself may put off the lovers of purely erotic fiction. Can a full view of a group of people in a crime scene of this nature be entertaining to all? I will say many.

Readers of crime, mystery, action, psychological drama thrillers may not find this to be a purist read. It has moments of travelogue quality, others as purely erotic.

Leon Kastel has succeeded in this second ebook, "Lost Yacht Pirate Love Colony," in providing a fiction story in novel form that is less brutal and less morbid than his first book. This second book is not about physical aggression it is about making the best of a bad situation in a very funny way. That boils down here to no rape, no murder.

This is then an action comedy of a white-collar version of hijacking and kidnapping. This is not only a best bet for reading entertainment from a best new author, I would say it might be the most entertaining ebook offered from Kindle at Amazon by any author that I know of. You be the judge – at $ 2.99 this a golden value. You'll be hooked!
