President Donald Trump plans to have his administration work with Congress to “repeal and replace” ObamaCare. Our President believes that there are some good provisions in the law – no denial of health insurance for existing health issues and the ability for parents to keep their kids on their health plans well into their 20s. Sure, sounds good. Of course, the left doesn’t want the right to touch ObamaCare and former President Obama is concerned that repealing the AHA – Affordable Healthcare Act destroys his leadership legacy – and maybe he’s right?

Recently, right after the 2016 Presidential Election I heard an intellectual claim that ObamaCare added 20 million – those who never had insurance before. ObamaCare did not add 20 million. It added 14 million if you count the number of people who were insured who lost their insurance and were forced into ObamaCare. But even that number is wrong as it quickly turned into 12 million and is now at 10.5 million (November 28, 2016). We have 325 million or more in the US now (not including the illegal aliens which we really have no clue as to exactly how many are here).

Think of this Ten Percent is 32.5 million. 10 million is less than 3% of our population, all the while everyone else’s health insurance during that time went up 100%. I’d have been okay with it, if my health insurance only went up by that 10% and 32 million uninsured were then insured, but their promises rang hollow – ObamaCare is an EPIC Failure. Even PEW Research (k-street law office/Left-Leaning Think Tank) says ObamaCare only added 12 million and hasn’t updated that figure since.

Worse, in many states people only have one-choice now for their health insurance and in some states no choices. All the while 40% of the ObamaCare sign-ups have not paid their premiums. The young healthy people have been priced out of the health insurance market, those millennials are needed to pay in and offset the costs so older people who do often need health care services can keep their insurance rates affordable. It didn’t work; ObamaCare is a Flop.

Realize that no one is going to die in the streets without healthcare insurance, even if they temporarily don’t have it. You see, it is against the law for an emergency room to not treat a human in immediate need. Further the HIPPA rules (Yes, Bush) killed off most of the free-clinics in larger towns due to costs to deal with all those new regulations – IT needs, costs to upgrade – I assume HIPPA regs were partly due to Silicon Valley lobbyists who like Technocrats think with computers you can run and control everything. Anyway, due to this and illegal aliens walking into hospital emergency rooms causing some 200 hospitals to close, most in poorer areas or near the border — We destroyed our health care system, created a monster and allowed socialists to hijack 1/5th of our economy.

It wasn’t just ObamaCare, but ObamaCare was no solution either, it made it so much worse – and yes, healthcare Ins. lobbyists wrote that bill and they signed it to see what was in it. “It was a 3000-page turd and Obama’s legacy is crap,” some say. I guess I agree, how about you (in hindsight of course)?
