Tip 1 – How To Play With A Scratched/Damaged Disc!
As many gamers have encountered, broken or scratched discs can be a real pain. Whether you bump your console as it’s running, or just through normal wear and tear, these scratches can cause your game to stop working! Now, if you are like me, you really will appreciate this tip I’m about to share with you.
Once your disc has been scratched, it may seem to be useless, but that is not true! So, here is my tip on fixing your scratched discs!
So, this is how it’s done. When you have your scratched disc, you will need to find a place where you can borrow another copy of the exact same game. Whether it be from a friend, or even from Blockbuster or similar companies (Redbox, Gamefly, Ect.) After you have obtained the extra copy, you are going to save it to your hard drive. This can be done through the Xbox Dashboard, and pressing save game to hard drive or something along those lines. After you have done this, you are done with the spare disc.
After this is, you are pretty much done! It’s that simple, now all you have to do to use your scratched is put it in your Xbox. Your scratched disc will now work!
But, How you may ask?
This works because when you first tried using your broken disc too much of the data would be unattainable because of the damage. But, now that you have it saved to your hard drive, all the data that was once unattainable can now be retrieved off the hard drive.
Tip 2 – How To Play Music From Your Ipod On Your Xbox!
Although this seems pretty simple, Apple and Microsoft aren’t exactly friends. So, Microsoft makes it as discrete as possible that you can use their biggest competitions product on their console.
To accomplish this you will first need to head over to the Xbox Live Marketplace. After this, navigate to a download called “Optional Ipod Support” this download is free, and it is very useful! After downloading this you will be able to listen to your favorite music while you play your games. To navigate to the Ipod supported media section, just scroll over to “Media” on your Xbox Dashboard, and an icon will appear for the new app you downloaded. That’s it your done!
