There's so many people out there trying to push internet marketing as the simplest way for complete newbies to have instant wealth at the moment.
It seems to have gone into overdrive. Inboxes are flooded with offers from groups and courses from people who are using social media sites to follow what these so called gurus say they must be doing, spamming!
The internet is a great tool but it is being advertised as a cash machine to make people rich. The truth of the matter is that it is possible to create wealth but you must not fall for the over inflated hype that is being spun in order to make other people wealthy.
I see even some of the biggest name gurus selling courses for over a thousand pounds basically selling ideals with no solid plan to make any cash.
The "do what I do and you will have the same results as me" offers attract people with cleverly thought out sales messages all lined up in autoresponders trying to portray a personal alliance between the gurus and the customer.
This is not the way beginners should be learning to use the internet. Like any learning experience, you need to learn the basics. If you get caught up in all the internet hype thinking you need to keep up, you will never get started.
Forget about SEO, Statistics, PPC, RSS, Keyword loading, A dsense, etc. the list is endless. Concentrate on selling something and using the internet as a tool to make it easier. Selling somebody else's recycled ebook isn't the way to do it. Trying to compete with people on the first page of Google using AdWords is not the way to do it.
Learning how to find niche markets and how to create products that they want will get you on the right pathway one step at a time rather than listening to the over inflated promises offering instant riches.
I want to get this message out. It's time people started to realize that they will never get rich following these pipedreams.
Certain guru's use emotional triggers to steer you to buying their over inflated products. They say to create true wealth, you need to have an expensive product. Mr average will never be able to have an expensive product. Can you imaging someone buying a thousand pound course in the knitting and sewing niche?
Sure you can create a great lifestyle in niche marketing but today, people have got caught up in the guru's hype about million dollar launches and think that doing their courses will produce the same results. It Won't.
